Weeping cherry tree that is said to be over 300 years old - Danjo Itozakura
A weeping cherry tree, Danjoitozakura, stands on Seiryu Street.
This cherry tree, one of the most unique in Yamaguchi prefecture, is estimated to be around 300 years old.
It was given this name because it is located on the ruins of the earthworks of Era Danjo, a senior vassal of Sengoku warlord Sue Harukata.
